  • Reports to: Head of Product Development

Role Overview:

The Technical Educator will play a critical role in supporting sales efforts through high-impact technical content and documentation. This person will be responsible for writing & publishing technical content with the marketing team, developing content to drive awareness and sales growth. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technolagy who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Time is split as needed between university and work. We will ensure you get all the time you need to attend studies and complete course work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with other Technical Educators to review, edit, and create technical documentation for feature releases using our docs-as-code platform.
  • Ensuring Content is appropriate audience (Developers, Senior Managers) etc
  • Creating/Selecting appropriate graphics and screenshots to accompany articles
  • Liase with the marketing team on all areas of Platform Marketing
  • Compassionately review draft documentation from other Technical Educators as well as contributions from internal collaborators outside of the team.
  • Learn about Ciptex's products, and become an advocate for our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experiencewriting, reviewing, and maintaining product documentation.
  • Excellent skills in grammar, and experience with minimalist documentation design.
  • Deep empathy for the developer experience and an ability to use that empathy to create a better developer experience in the documentation.
  • Curious about new products and technologies and excited about sharing what you learn with our customers.
  • Excellent Written English
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Highly organized and able to work on numerous issues and projects simultaneously.
